      How to Enable and Use Snapshots

       

      • Snapshots will only work on volumes that are 64TB and smaller
      • Snapshots must be on prior to an accidental file deletion
      • Snapshots are not allocated to a specific storage pathed location as it is block level using Microsoft VSS
      • All free space on disk can be allocated by windows for VSS. No "Used space" on disk will ever contain snapshots.
      • **V5.6+ no longer allows changes of amount of snapshot space used.  Space is allocated to the remainder of all the unused space in the StorageGroup.
