Can I connect my Mac and Mediahub via Thunderbolt?

Unfortunately the answer is No.  Mac and Windows OS cannot work via Thunderbolt to communicate directly using that connection.  If speed is a goal, you may need to look into 5G or 10G adapters to add or your ecosystem.
